Video Projects

This was my first large solo project under Redwood Voice Youth Media. This video took me several months of rewrites and patience to get right. Everything in this video was done by me, by hand. I'm particularly proud of my prose in this piece, which I will admit is what I perceive as a weak spot in my work.

This was my first project that required me to stay overnight to gather footage. Its an example of my journalistic work in the field, with less artful lighting and more light shed on the truth of the situation.

An example of my non-profit work. I worked with Gateway Education of the Wild Rivers Coast as their videographer/editor for 4 years, during which I cut my teeth on promotional videos and learning what made a good shot. During this time I also learned how to direct others to getting good shots, after working with many sub-par shots.
